PinPapers
Private beta · India

Private documents, pinned to place.

PinPapers keeps the papers that matter — leases, IDs, receipts, warranties — encrypted on your device and pinned to a spot on the map. What’s yours stays yours, and you always know where it is.

Why PinPapers

Private by design, not by promise.

Four things built into the app — not bolted on afterwards.

Encrypted on your device

Everything is locked with strong encryption before it ever leaves your phone.

Pinned to a place

Keep documents where they belong and find them by location, on a private map only you see.

Shared on your terms

Send a document to someone for a limited time — and take that access back whenever you want.

No ads in the beta

The private beta shows no ads, and we never sell your personal data. Privacy is the product.

Built privacy-first

Security isn’t a setting. It’s the foundation.

From on-device encryption to a lock behind your Face ID or fingerprint, PinPapers is designed so your private papers stay private — quietly, and by default.

  • Encrypted on your device (AES-256-GCM) before upload
  • Locked behind Face ID, fingerprint, or your passcode
  • No ads or trackers in the private beta; your data is never sold
  • Delete anytime — your keys are destroyed within 30 days
Questions

The things people ask first.

01Can PinPapers read my documents?
Not in normal operation. Your files are encrypted on your device and stored only in encrypted form — there is no automated or routine decryption path. We can obtain decrypted access to specific files only through a strictly-limited, multi-party process, and only when compelled by valid legal process.
02Is it end-to-end encrypted?
Your documents are encrypted on your device before upload. Because we hold a separate escrow-wrapped key for compelled lawful-access situations, we don’t describe stored files as “end-to-end encrypted” — we’d rather be exact. Sharing a document, though, is end-to-end in the normal case.
03Do you show ads or sell my data?
During the private beta, PinPapers shows no ads, and we never sell your personal data.
04Where is my data stored?
Primarily in AWS Mumbai (ap-south-1), India. Some data transits our processors (Google, Google Maps, Twilio, Sentry) as described in the Privacy Policy.
05How do I delete my account?
During the private beta, email info@mindslake.com from your registered address. Within 30 days your keys are crypto-shredded and your documents become permanently unrecoverable. Full steps are on the Account & Data Deletion page.
06Who can join the beta?
The beta is invitation-only, in India, for users aged 18 or over. Email us to request access and we’ll be in touch.
